Mr. Glen Page

Basic Info
I am a Navy brat. My father retired from US Navy Submarine service in the mid-70s. As a Navy brat, we moved about every 2 years. By the time I was 8, I had lived in 8 different cities in 5 states.
Education
I graduated from Bell County High School in Pineville, KY. I then went on to complete a BA in mathematics with concentrations in secondary education and computer science from Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, TN. After completing my BA, I stayed at Carson-Newman and worked towards a Master of Arts in Teaching degree that I never actually finished.
Work Experience
I am not new to Woodsville High School. I actually started my career as a teacher here at WHS in the fall of 1988. Back when I first started here, I taught various mathematics courses plus a state required computer literacy course and several computer programming classes. Back then, there were a total of 12 computers at WHS and they were all in my classroom. I stayed at WHS for 13 years. During that time, I oversaw a large expansion in the number of computers in the school and introduced the school (and all of SAU23) to this “new” fangled thing called the Internet. In 2001, I left WHS to take a job as the Director of Information Technology for Thetford Academy. After 19 years at Thetford, I am returning to WHS. Ironically, I am replacing Mr. Thompson who was one of my “kids” back when I taught here before. Several other employees of WHS and many of the other SAU23 schools were students of mine when I was here before. Since I have started working here twice now, I decided that one picture of me was not enough. The picture with long hair was taken during my first year of teaching here. The picture with short hair was taken this summer.
What I teach at WHS
I am the Cisco Networking Academy Instructor. In this position, I will be teaching Intro to Robotics and the various Cisco Networking Academy courses.
Extra/Extra
I have been married to my lovely wife Robin since 1991. We have two grown children and three grandchildren.
During my free time, I enjoy riding motorcycles, fat biking, driving my Jeep and running various length competitive races including 5Ks, Spartan obstacle course races, and Ragnar relay races.
