New Scholarship applications available outside of Guidance

Alice M. Yarnold and Samuel Yarnold Scholarship Trust-

This is for a NH student who is already attending a post-secondary institution in the fields of nursing,medicine, or social work.  Candidates must demonstrate financial need.  Applicants enrolled in fields other than those aforementioned may apply, but will not be given first consideration.  Current high school seniors are NOT eligible until next year. 

Orford Lion’s Club Scholarship-

Candidates must be graduating seniors from PiermontOrford, Lyme, or Fairlee who have excelled both academically and personally, and who have acted in ways that have benefited their community.  The one-year award can be used toward the costs of any “reasonable” post-secondary education, including trade school. 

Moran Family Scholarship

Sponsored by the NH Land Surveyors Foundation, this scholarship is offered to graduating NH high school seniors with financial need who will be pursuing a career in surveying or a related field such as civil engineering. It is renewable for college students who continue to major in the field.

Fletcher “Buster” Brush Memorial Scholarship-

One Vermont and one NH student will be selected to receive a renewable scholarship in honor of “Buster” Brush who was passionate about working with youth and serving his community. The awards will go to two deserving seniors who have distinguished themselves from their peers through hard work, school spirit, leadership, and a desire to help others and make a difference in their communities.
