WHS Alumni Spotlight – Kaitlyn Hamilton

I’m Kaitlyn Hamilton, class of 2016. Right after high school, I went to Plymouth State University. I started majoring in graphic design but soon realized that my true passion was teaching kids. I then transferred to art education, where I started my journey to become an art teacher. I went into multiple classrooms to observe and teach a lesson and took my favorite class, youth development. During the fall of 2020, I accepted a position for a co-teaching position at a high school. There is where I learned my classroom management and started to really make lesson plans and put them into effect. Today I am now a middle school art teacher at Parkside middle school!
