January, 2022 WHS Athletes of the Week

WHS Athlete of the Week. Emily Farr: A strong senior forward fired in 17 points to help Woodsville to a win against Blue Mountain. Emily also added in 12 points to help her team to a 47-19 win over Moultonborough. Emily is a three-sport athlete and has been a part of the varsity basketball team for four years. Emily has helped her team to 1 championship and 2 final fours. We are excited and look forward to seeing what Emily Farr has to offer her team this year!
WHS Athlete of the Week. Connor Houston: The sophomore sharp-shooter rallied in 11 points to help the undefeated Engineers to a 75-10 win over host Moultonborough Academy. He is an excellent role player on the bench, and helps to get the game going. Connor makes the most of it when he’s asked to go onto the court. He has been on varsity for two years, while seeing some jv time his freshman year. He was quickly promoted to seeing some varsity playing time. We look forward to watching Connor excel once the seniors leave!
WHS Athlete of the Week. Camden Davidson: Cam had 15 points against Profile helping his team achieve a 57-27 win. This Junior is always supporting his teammates and has a positive attitude during the games. He is a great rebounder and overall player. We are excited to see what Cam has to offer this season.
WHS Athlete of the Week. Maddie Roy: Maddie is a Senior guard for the Girls Varsity Basketball team. Not only is she an excellent defender, but she is also a great 3 point shooter. She racked up 10 points against Lisbon helping her team win 44-30 against Lisbon. We hope Maddie has a great senior basketball season and can’t wait to see what she can do.
